Presenter Bio
Asia Ridley, PharmD, is a Medical Science Liaison in Oncology at Bristol Myers Squibb, where she builds collaborative relationships with thought leaders, healthcare professionals, and access stakeholders to support scientific exchange and advance patient access to innovative cancer therapies. In her role, she delivers impactful medical programs, provides strategic scientific insights to cross-functional partners, and supports clinical research activities, including study feasibility, patient recruitment, and congress engagement.
Dr. Ridley previously completed two oncology-focused postdoctoral fellowships at BMS, serving on both the U.S. and Worldwide Medical Strategy teams. During her fellowship, she led congress strategy for major global meetings, developed medical plans across gastrointestinal and pan-tumor indications, and created training resources to strengthen scientific engagement across field medical and commercial teams. She also contributed to launch readiness efforts for key immuno-oncology programs, including nivolumab in melanoma and colorectal cancer.
Her earlier experience includes clinical research work in cardiovascular and endocrine diseases, as well as medical information and oncology externships with leading academic and industry partners. Dr. Ridley earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree Summa Cum Laude from Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She remains committed to driving meaningful scientific exchange that improves patient outcomes in oncology.
